Hamilton Comments on VRS Rate and Review of Proprietary for NECA Council

Hamilton Comments

This is an interesting proposal by Hamilton.  The first part is not a surprise; asks the FCC to freeze reimbursement rates for VRS.   Coming from a VRS provider, as I said, this id not a surprise.

The second comment caught my eyes and I found it intriguing and urge the FCC to consider that.  Basically, Hamilton is asking that the FCC allow some proprietary information to be shared publically and do it in a such way not to hurt VRS providers themselves.

Interstate TRS Fund Council (coordinated by the NECA) is the FCC’s advisory council on the reimbursement rates of all TRS features.  It is almost a joke for the Council to approve the NECA’s proposals because the members never get to see the proprietary information such as break down costs, etc.   What the Council essentially has done most of the time is rubber stamp approval whatever the NECA proposes.

Hamilton offers a suggestion where the Council and public can review and see for all the world to see why reimbursement rates should be reduced, as is, or even increased.
