The link shows USA has avg of 2 megabits per second (Mbps) when compared to Japan that enjoys a whooping 51 Mbps, South Korea 45 Mbps, and Canada 7 Mbps.
Article shows fast Internet affects business opportunities, and, of course, for us deafies - fast is best for video conference for a good quality.

I am using 10Mbps not MBps with unlimited usage for downstream and unlimited for upstream. Before it was 7Mbps with limit 20 GB downstream and 10 GB upstream and it was over limit usage so I switched to unlimited and gain speed to 10Mbps, upload almost speed at 1Mbps.
Megabytes (MB)
Megabits (Mb)
ex: 10Mbps equal to 1.1 MBps
Thanks for correction. Alert should say Mbps, not MBps. I made change accordingly…
Forget to add that I am using 10Mbps in Canada.
Wow - we were behind you guys here in the United Kingdom - we are now experiencing speeds up to 24Mbps without any caps - upstream is running around 1.3Mbps and life is cosy here
