If it is about local TV program?   You probably need to complain directly to the local TV network that does these "mindless" tv programs.   Unfortunately the federal does not oversee this kind of prgramming of tv programs.</description>

		<description>I would like to know who i would complain to about the programing of my local tv programs. I am very pissed off about all of the marithons, on all of the chaniles i like to watch. What makes them think that everyone likes to watch  the same shit over and over again. all damn day long. Is it becouse the people that are responcable for picking the daily scedules, are to damn lazy to spend the time doing so?. I get the inprection that they think that we are all a bunch of mindless breanless, blithering idiots, I like to call it IQ of a god damn shoe tv. Please let me know.</description>

Yet I want to make amend if possible or just a wonder. 

Would be able to have several videophone in a household with same phone number? Suppose if I am in kitchen, I can talk there instead of running across the house to answer a phone in living room. I would like to have that equal access that hearing people have in their home where they can answer in Kitchen, or in living room or in bedroom, or in the den, or outside intercom. Whatever meets the community's needs.  And as many phone in same house hold. I want to function EQUALLY as hearing would in their daily lives.</description>

Bob is right.  The more details you have the better the chances of the FCC taking acion.  In fact, try to make a few calls, write down date, time, name of the person u talked to, phone number, summary of ur concern, and summary of TV's response.   If all these fails, go to:

http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints_general.html  to formally complain. 

Bob, what you said in ur comment is the very thing you can comment to the FCC  :-)  Help the FCC understand that the TV Network, TV broadcasters, the decision makers at the TV world generally will try to brush it off and point to other as being the problem one.  Explain that the problem is widespread which indicates 45 days are not working.

I've done few complaints about CC in the past with DirecTV.  I did not dothe formal letter to DirecTV - i called them about it.  They did not accept the fact problem was on their side.  After few calls (i think over 2 or 4 weeks), then I filed complaint with FCC via the e-filing.  It was painless and easy.  Details are important to FCC, name of show, channel, description of problem, etc.

Other time, when problem reoccurred, I called DIrecTV, but gave it only few days, and immediately filed with FCC.   This resulted in swift action on everyone.

I think 45 days is ridiculous for this type of complaints.  TV is time-critical.  If the broadcaster will not do anything, what are we supposed to do, sit and do nothing ?  Plus, shows are usually weekly basis (or even daily-basis) so that's 45 days of lost shows, or even worse, 4 Lost episodes lost! :)  Of course it would be a different story if broadcast actually listened and worked on it.  And you are seeing results, then yes they deserve the chance to have the time to fix it.

As per my blog: "It is what it is" I am planning on filing a formal complaint to the FCC in regards to my closed captioning issues via my local tv provider. Per the FCC regulations, I was supposed to file a formal complaint in writing to my local provider then wait 45 days for action to be taken. The deadline is at the end of April. I plan to wait until the end of April to forward the complaint letter I wrote to my local provider, a letter explaining my situation complete with links to my blog site, and all of my contact information.
