Author of VP Survey,

Hey, thanks for the corrections. I wasn't sure of the language, and glad you could clarify that. Your comment and this comment will reach everyone that viewed the vlog.

Again, thanks. One question. Has this survey produced results?

eyes open & thumbs up,

Ed-

As one of the author for this DHHIG survey, I wish to make a couple of corrections...

1) The largest participant is Department of Defense (53), not Department of Education which have 13. This was noted in the survey report.

2) The "functionality" of the video-conferencing equipment means "How well does your videophone work?", not "How often do you use your videophone?" We at DHHIG were trying to determine if deaf & hard of hearing Federal workers' videophone equipment are working properly or not.

We would appreciate very much if you could make these corrections in your vlog as well as your webpage.

Additionally, if you have any questions about the survey results or want to provide feedback/suggestions about this initiative, please send an email to VPSummit@dhhig.org.

I work for CDC under HHS. The contractor for CDC is clueless at my branch. I have a videophone in my office, but it is not working. I have reported three times. Sigh!!

Ed,
thanks for sharing the results of the DHHIG survey. We need a similar one for deaf employees in state government throughout the USA. I would say that nearly all of the Rehabilitation Counselors for the Deaf in CA have video communication capability. I don't know about other CA state agencies that have deaf employees, if they have such capability. Sheila
