Here is NECA report on financial of TRS.

TRS Fund Performance

Check out the total reimbursement for each TRS.  Of particular interest for most of us is VRS:   The total reimbursement for month of April which was reimbursed in June was:  $51,465,147.66.   Even more revealing is the June 2009 to June 2010 total: $561,903,082 out of grand total for ALL TRS fund $662,334.336.  

Another interesting fact:  there are only 8 Certified VRS providers that get reimbursed.

Canada Comments

Quotable Quotes:

"Sorenson has invested in 8 VRS call centers in Canada which employ over 300 people."

I remembered a few comments from deaf/hoh Canadians who were glad that the FCC disallowed centers in foreign countries citing that they had problem finding qualified interpreters in their homeland.  

So makes me wonder how the deaf/hoh Canadians feel about this Canada government’s comments?
